To ensure children are on track with their individually tailored programmes, we set homework based on what is taught during their sessions along with plenty of practice tests. We also closely monitor their progress and give parents regular feedback. Our homework is paper-based as this will give them a feel of exactly how the 11+ examinations are structured and sat.
To ensure that all children gain the level best out of every session with Slough Tutors, we limit the number of students in each lesson. We have a student:teacher ratio of 4: 1. A lower ratio is beneficial for children as it allows them to benefit from more individual attention and allows them to concentrate thoroughly.
